These are a few of my favourite things #ASMSG #AReads Christmas

It's the festive season and I hope you are getting into the spirit. If you're not, we, the Addictive Reads group authors, have something that could get you in a merry mood.

Before we get to how you can win all those lovely things I want to share some of my favourite things.

MUSIC.

My musical taste is eclectic to say the least. Most of all, I love to listen to music I can dance to. When I need to lift my spirit, you will find me sticking a CD into the computer while I'm writing or just playing a random selection from my Google Music collection.

Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars is currently my favourite song of 2014 as the kids and I sing and bop to it when it's played on the radio during the school run. I'm sharing this version performed by Fleur East at the X Factor Semi Final. Love it!

COLOURS.

I love bright colours. At this time of the year when it gets dark so quickly I love seeing Christmas lights decorating street lamps or buildings. There's something magical about all those lights twinkling against a dark night.

BOOKS.

I love reading books.
"D'uh," you say. "You're a writer. You should love books."
LOL. Well, apparently some writers don't read. *Shudders* I just hope I don't know any of those writers personally. That's all I'm saying.
Anyway, I have several books that I re-read often and Raffaele: Taming His Tempestuous Virgin by Sandra Marton is one of my favourites to read again and again. It makes me laugh so hard one minute and shed a tear in another.

I love a few other things like having friends and family over during the festivities.
